We need help, the Government bailed out Wallstreet for the problems that Wallstreet and the mortage companies made on their own. Yet what about the people in America what about us, we need help too. So I Just found out we can begin nominating for The Online Hip Hop Awards. We are going for “The Come-Up Award” seeing as we didn’t exist 6 months ago and now we have a great online presence. Feel free to nominate us for any other categories you see fit, but the Come-Up Award is definitely one we feel we deserve. Also, the “Music Lover Blog of The Year” would be nice to get too…Just sayin….

Hey, wassup everybody. If anyone visited the site last night, I’m sure you got tired of waiting and left. Our webhost decided it would be extra slow lastnight without any prior warning (and they still haven’t told us what happened). Anyway, Exclusive1 and myself took it upon ourselves to move to a new webhost. So if anything looks out of place in the next 24 hours…that is why. We will be resolving to the new web host later today. (it takes a couple of hours for the new site to show up).
Nothing will really be changed, but you will hopefully notice a faster loading website than before. (and we are also probably going to use this as a chance to finally switch themes). I guess you get what you pay for when you pay $50 bucks for a year of hosting (that’s considered dirt cheap in the hosting world). Haha. I should’ve known it was too good to be true. Anyway, just bear with us as we move to a new webhost.

Did y’all miss me and my singles updates? Probably not….haha…most of ya’ll just stopped coming. Thanks to everybody who stuck around despite the lack of updates, even though Exc1usive1 held it down for me.
Anyway, I figured since I have time now, I’d update y’all on what’s been going on. Basically, the temp agency I’m under contract with for the summer found me a little job, so I been adjusting to the weird schedule they got me working. I’m back on my grind now and have time to update ya’ll like I normally do.
What Am I going to do about the tracks I missed the past 4 days?…..nothing…sorry, it’s just too many, I would never catch up. I’m just gonna start off with the singles for today…

Don’t panic if you see the site look weird or different. We are experiencing problems for our IE users (eventhough you should be using Firefox cause it’s better). Our IE users are getting a very strange error and we’re working on getting it fixed. SO you might see the theme switch and weird stuff happening to the page.

Okay, maybe I went a little overboard with the title, but hey, I like to thing I’m doing big things….
Aight, well, I ain’t gonna be here most of the day. So I uploaded most of this stuff yesterday and the dya before in case I wouldn’t be around the computer and set it to auto post in intervals all day. Just know I got A LOT of stuff lined up.
about 6 mixtapes (don’t quote me on that, but could be more)
a compilation of music for ya’ll July 4th party throwers I threw together real quick last night)
plus the singles for today.
I figured since I ain’t gon be here and my co-blogger, exc1usive1 disappeared off the face of the earth to party (HAHA), why not just upload all this stuff I got sitting here. Today is the perfect day to unload it. FIrst post of today is coming up right after this, assuming I put the right times in. Check back in a bit and it should be up.

Hey whats up everybody? As you know I didn’t get to post any singles yesterday. I got called in to work a 12 hour shift as I was posting them. Don’t worry, they are coming up within the hour(s). But, I might be working a little bit more in the coming weeks and months, so I’m gonna need some help with the blog.

I’ve been contemplating back and forth. When I started the site, it was only going to be for new singles. Then I started to add main mixtapes. Then I started doing Sunday Rewinds. So, I’m asking y’all, should I add more news to the site?

Well, I was getting ready to start uploading songs for the day and Comcast decides to disconnect me. I finally got it to work after 15 minutes of messing with it. Then I notice my internet is REALLY slow. So I ignore it and try to start uploading songs…..and I get errors from every site I try.
So…I went to speedtest.net to test my speed. And look at this:
Just in case you’re not very technical, this is VERY VERY VERY slow. It would take me like 18 hours to upload all the songs I have ready for today. That’s not speculation, I actually was trying to upload them. Hopefully in a few hours it is fixed and running so I can get started for ya’ll. I just had to vent because Comcast continues to piss me off. I pay $42.95 a month for this slow junk? Anybody else experience this with comcast? Leave your comments man. I’m seriously about to cancel this trash.
Anyway, check out the singles from yesterday, I know you probably didn’t listen to them all (LOL) until i can get the singles up for today. Can’t even run a simple blog with Comcast….smh

Effective today, I will begin 2 new segments:
1. “Rewind-it-Back Sundays” (yea, I know the name is hot, came up with it myself )
“Rewind-It Back Sundays” will be songs that are not new, and may be songs you have never heard of. They will be older songs. You will know some off top, but some you won’t because they probably never got any attention by the radio or the hip hop world, which is the whole reason I will be doing this…to bring attention to artists who deserve it. ALL of these tracks are personal favorites of mine, so they all get 5 stars! It will just be a random asortment of tracks every Sunday. Could be some old Temptations or a song that came out just lust month that I never posted.
2. “Mixtape Mondays”
Not as catchy as the other name…but I tried. Submit some names for it in the comments section. This is exactly what it sounds like. I will post all (well, most)the mixtapes from the past week on Monday. I’m not trying to post every mixtape, just what I think you all should hear.
Don’t worry. Neither of these will affect the daily singles posts, though there might be less of an assortment of singles these 2 days….
What do you think? I really want you all’s feedback on this, so please leave feedback in the comments section.
