Well we knew it was only a matter of time, but I’m glad it was Royce who kicked off the sure-to-be flood of Over “freestyles.”  Royce, like the Slaughterhouse dudes always do, lays it down, giving the beat a very different feel.  Despite the so-so chorus, the original has definitely grown on me.  Whose do you guys like better? Royce’s or Drakes?

Here’s some footage of The Machine on their European tour.  I’m not sure if it was just the show I was at, but when I saw them live, it was a bit disappointing.

1/2 of the machine take some time when they aren’t on stage performing on tour to let off some steam on this new track.  Both absolutely  destroyed this song, so be sure not to skip it.

Benzino dropped a video last week dissing Royce for whatever reason…I (and the rest of the 5 Star crew) was too busy not giving a fuck to post a Benzino video.  What I will do is post Royce’s (hilarious) response though.  Oh yea….Royce is tore up! (AKA Drunk)

@RoyceDaFive9 just unleashed this gem via his Twitter page.  This is gonna be on Bar Exam 3, which I have been patiently waiting for.  This’ll hold me over til’ then.

I can’t seem to get over this guys name, Joey 6′1 what the hell is that. I really think this is a joke from one of the Slaughterhouse members to be honest, something is up. Anyways these are some real solid tracks and the beats are sick.

Side-note: Any of you a lil’ confused why Royce is on the track Puerto Rico and not Ortiz.

As we patiently await the release of Royce’s newest mixtape, The Bar Exam 3, which drops the same day as the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight on March 13, 2010, Royce gives us a taste of the lyrical fire that we have come expect from the Motown MC. Here we find Royce going in over the Clipse banger “Popular Demand (Popeyes)” beat. Enjoy.

Here is the official video for Slaughterhouse’s record, “Microphone”, one of my personal favorites, off their self-titled album, which is currently in stores.

Royce sits down with MTV and explains his writing process, which works because some, if not most of his verses are crazy.

My favorite track that I’ve heard from Street Hop. And as soon as a saw the lineup I knew it was going to be crazy. October 20th, save the date and go support. Also, there’s a rumor a remix might drop that will add an actual Phonte verse.
