The only reason I am posting this song is because I want to raise awareness of a bill that was passed in congress regarding the disproportions in sentencing between power and liquid cocaine. The ratio 100 to 1 has been reduced to 18 to 1. I still think it should be 1 to 1 but it is a step in the right direction. Read more about the new bill here.

Sidenote: I really hate this scream/straining sound that women are recording with these days. Shareefa, Jasmine Sullivan and Alicia Keys drive me crazy when they sound like this. Its like ill, what the hell did you do to your vocal cords?
