Mannnnn, I love Ludacris so much, but he’s one of the biggest sellouts and hasn’t been rapping as well as I know he can for quite some time. Haven’t listened to all of this yet, but i’m not enjoying him pronouncing it “Jiggawatts.” In other news, he takes shots at Drake and Big Sean on tracks five & six concerning who really invented the “Supa Dupa Flow.”  I still firmly believe Luda could crush both of them if he wanted to.

Here’s the thing with this song: I feel like a) this song has already been out for a while, b) it’s wayyyy too eclectic and is trying too hard to be a lot of different things, and c) it would have fit in better back in like 2007, and just sounds weird in this day and age. Anyone feelin’ what I’m saying?

I had a chance to see this movie this weekend, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Luda & Tyrese both were very good, and the movie is action packed from the very beginning. So imagine how happy I was when I heard this cut taken from the motion picture soundtrack, featuring my favorite rap group Slaughterhouse. Need I say anymore?

Damn…homie is big. Anyway, here comes 7 minutes of absolutely INSANITY to your dome. I usually absolutely hate remixes like this, but there are a few ok verses on here, if not for anything more than the spectacle of rappers doing triple-time rapping.

Slant $0.02: Quite the interesting juxtaposition we got going here: transitioning from the classy, soulful music of Pusha T to the obnoxious “gangsta” music of DJ Khaled & co. That’s what makes hip hop so interesting; there are so many different types of this one genre.
