Mos Def is all over this album, which has a ton of other star-studded features. Jay Electronica, Jean Grae, and contrary to the above tracklist, Joell Ortiz too all join in on the fun on this track titled Prowler 2. It’s worth the download trust me. The album is titled 24 Hour Karate School. Classes begin March 30th.

Brooklyn heavyweight Joell Ortiz and Atlanta-based Renaissance musician Novel have joined forces to shake up the status quo with their brand new collaborative mixtape Defying the Predictable.
In addition to reader-acclaimed cuts “Stressful,” “Ghetto (Pt. 1)” and “Like I Know,” the set features guest appearances from a wide variety of artists, including Jadakiss, Spree Wilson, Saigon, and the entire Slaughterhouse crew. The project features production by Novel himself, as well as beats by Frequency and Statik Selektah.”
Though I have not made my way all the way through, it is quite evident that this mixtape is full of gems. Joell and Novel go OFF on this mixtape. Enjoy.

Going in over Jay Electronica’s “Exhibit C” instrumental, Joell sheds some light on the current situation with the government and Haiti.

Two new joints from Joell Ortiz, the first one featuring Cory Gunz. The other is labeled a freestyle over Jay Electronica’s “Exhibit C”, the full EP now on iTunes.
Jay absolutely kills that Just Blaze produced track, but Joell goes real hard on every track he spits on. Other than him, no one else should waste our time trying to go over this, IMO.

I can’t seem to get over this guys name, Joey 6′1 what the hell is that. I really think this is a joke from one of the Slaughterhouse members to be honest, something is up. Anyways these are some real solid tracks and the beats are sick.
Side-note: Any of you a lil’ confused why Royce is on the track Puerto Rico and not Ortiz.
