In the clip below, Jigga man Hova Illuminati Jay and Alicia Keys perform the ever-popular (and now annoying) “Empire State of Mind” at the 2010 Brit Awards.

Jay talks to MTV about how he is still in the very primitive stages of his next album.  While he has a few ideas floating around, he has no idea when the album will come out or what it is going to look like.

And he is absolutely right.  The “We Are The World 25″ remake wasn’t even close.

“I know everybody is gonna take this wrong: ‘We Are the World,’ I love it, and I understand the point and think it’s great. But I think ‘We Are the World’ is like [Michael Jackson's] ‘Thriller’ to me. I don’t ever wanna see it touched. I’m a fan of music. I know the plight and everything that’s going on in Haiti. I applaud the efforts: [Millions have been raised] through text [donations] to Haiti. So I appreciate the efforts and everything, but ‘We are the World’ is [musically] untouchable like ‘Thriller’ is untouchable. Some things are just untouchable. It was a valiant effort, but for me, it’s gonna be untouchable.”

Above, Swizz Beatz speaks with MTV’s Mixtape Daily about Jay-Z’s upcoming album.

“Crazy,” Swizz told us about Jay’s new work. “It’s crazy. I’m working on the intro right now, matter of fact. It’s stupid.”

Swizz hinted that the beat he gave Hov had an innovative, trailblazing sound.“We been talking about that international vibe since the last album,” Swizz said.

“But the sound changes. You got too many people trying to do too many things. They throw it off. I’m actually going out there doing the legwork, sitting there with the master composers, and we gonna pull this thing together.”

If “Blueprint 3″ was any indication of what to expect from his next project, then I can assure you that he is working on classic material. Though BP3 has been criticized by some of my colleagues, I have a thorough appreciation for the album and expect Jay to continue making beautiful music.

Today, Jay-Z, Young Jeezy and Trey Songz made their way to the Hot 97 studios to talk with Angie Martinez.

During their interview, Jay-Z addresses Birdman’s comments about Lil’ Wayne being better than him, Young Jeezy talks about calling a truce with Gucci Mane, and the three discuss touring together/collaborating together.

Snoop confirmed that there would be a remix of this just hours ago on Twitter.  The internet went to work…and here we have the radio rip CDQ of the Kings G-Mix featuring the Jigga Man.  **UPDATE: Damn that was fast!  CDQ/Clean added, courtesy of Miss Info. **UPDATE 2: Explicit added.  In a matter of 2 hrs, the radio rip, clean CDQ, and Dirty CDQ all leaked.  I love the internet, don’t you?

Levi Guy Sidebar: I do not know about you guys, but this “Kings G-Mix” is highly overrated. I have heard a few people say that it is amazing, but I simply submit to you that Jay and Snoop can do incredibly better. This remix is nothing more than a mediocre attempt from both artists.

The official video for Jay’s latest single off Blueprint 3, which is in stores now!  Happy New year people!  What a great way to ring in the new year, such a fitting day to drop the premiere.   Shoutout to all the West Coasters.  Y’all still in 2009?  We Off That!

Mr. 5 Star’s $0.02: I hope it’s better than their first collab, “We Off That”…cause I’m definitely off that.  Hell, I was never on it.

The track will be included on the rapper’s forthcoming debut, Thank Me Later, tentatively slated for a March release.

“When I heard that beat, the drums that they had come up with, it was like, ‘Man, this is a moment,’ ” he said. ” ‘This sounds like where I’m at in my life.’ So, we took it and 40 did what he does to pieces of music that I see potential in — he took it to the next spot. Jay-Z’s on it. The song is phenomenal. It’s done now.”

Official visuals to Jay-Z’s “Young Forever” from his latest effort “Blueprint 3? has surfaced.

Looks like Jay-Z is trying to make the most out of BP3, in terms of videos. He has already has “D.O.A (Death of Auto-tune),” “Run This Town,” “Empire State of Mind,” and it seems that there are videos for “On to the Next One” and “Real as it Gets” on the way.

Whatever though, I cannot complain.
