After giving you the tagged version, it’s only correct we bring you the CD quality, so here it is.  This is probably my favorite track out right now, so if you haven’t given it a listen, I highly suggest you do.  And don’t just listen to it half-ass while you’re makin’ some pizza rolls and turn it off halfway through.  Carefully tune in to this one and take in some truthfully honest lyrics from Asher.  Get Ready It’s a New Day.

Before he decided to jump on Ustream and play pictionary with Boyder and Brain Bang and draw pictures of doggy style, beehives, and Stu Scott tonight, Ash dropped off this remix of Pharrell & Co.’s current single right now, “Hot n Fun,” on his blog.  He adds a verse about the pants party.  Enjoy.

This really makes me want to crowd surf again.  This is the trailer for an upcoming series of videos of behind the scenes footage from Asher’s The Great Hangover Tour.  Looks like it could be really cool.

Time to play a little catch-up.  Here’s a cut that is titled “G.R.I.N.D.,” which stands for “Get Ready It’s a New Day.”  Though just a radio rip from DJ Enuff’s show on Hot 97 this 1500 or Nothin’ produced track is pretty solid.  He said the CD quality is comin’ out next week so be lookin’ for that too.  I’m still wondering when Greenhouse Effect 2 is comin’ out!?

Boyder gives a little glimpse into a studio session where Asher and Nottz are workin on a little somethin’ somethin’.

Directed by BBGun, Ash picks up in the bread isle for some footage to accompany the song “Muddy Swim Trunks” from Seared Foie Gras W/ Quince & Cranberry. I literally laughed when i saw the random naked chick in the middle.  Pretty weird video, but since it’s from Asher, I can’t say I’m surprised, as it’s right in line with his usual persona. Check it out for yourself and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

**Shits self** Take out Charles Hamilton and Asher Roth and this is astronomical.  Wish Cudi was included, though.  Might as well call it the XXL Freshmen group.  Haha.

The first leak off of Asher’s ridiculously-titled sophomore mixtape, Seared Foie Gras w/ Quince and Cranberry.  Say what you will about Asher, he has a ton of haters and a ton of fans.  You can put me in the “fan” corner.  His first mixtape, The Greenhouse Effect, is still one of my favorite mixtapes to date.  I spent a lot of time defending him to friends and people who would post comments just hating on the dude.  But then his album was extremely underwhelming and completely lacking the lyricism that he showcased on The Greenhouse Effect.  Having heard this track, I am very hopeful that his potent lyrics will again shine through on this upcoming mixtape.  I just don’t understand why artists sacrifice their lyrics to make an album that appeals to the masses, Asher’s didn’t even sell that well.
