So in an effort to push 21 Jump Street towards that precious 18-25 demographic, the producers are going around creating a modern soundtrack to fit the film. What do y’all think of this track?

Here’s what We Stole The Kids had to say about themselves and this video:
We Stole The Kids: we’re a 6 piece Electrindie/Pop/Hip Hop band from New York, and this is our debut FreEP’s first video and single, “All In My Head”. The video was shot on almost no budget in the middle of December on a beach in Long Island, New York; something that would be a great setting were it not for the 30 degree, windy weather. Singer Jess Ingui met the entire band in person for the first time just minutes before the first shot – to be honest, we’re not sure how she put up with hours of sub-freezing temperatures and having colored smoke grenades blow up in our faces, but we’re glad she did – we’ve gone on to play shows and record 3 EPs with her and couldn’t be more excited. All In My Head is the first single off of the first of these EPs, “Late Night EPisode”, which will be released for free in March.

Y’all know I love me some new Cory Gunz, but I think we can all agree that this beat needs to rest for a while.

Haha… come on, tell me this guys image/flow/lyrics don’t remind you of October’s Very Own. No disrespect, this song is dope as hell, but still… He even does the Drake “AAAH” at 1:37!!

Yesterday, Chiddy released their debut offering, Breakfast, in physical form in the US. But never ones to forget their UK audience (who receives the album March 5th), they dropped off the Ray Charles EP, which featured two remixes of the title song, as well as this little gem. It’s only available in the UK, but y’all know Slant’s got the hook ups! …I’m too corny today. I’m out.

Man, today is just attack of the mixtapes!
…*Ehem* now that I got that shoddy ass line out of the way, here’s an offering from the UK’s own Smiler! He really puts it down on this tape, and – as always – I’ve got a cut to pique your curiosity. It samples Big Spender and features Lana Del Ray, so you know it’s a good one. If you feel it, grab the tabe below!

One-fourth of the Money Making Jam Boys decided to release a mixtape in which he goes in over some of the more popular beats from the last year or so. I’ve also included a cut from the tape to showcase STS genre-defying flow.
