Here is the official artwork for the upcoming album Distant Relatives from Nas & Damian Marley, which is set for a May 18th release.  So I have two things to look forward to in May; The Boondocks and this album.

Looks like Consequence dropped off his Movies On Demand artwork and tracklist over at Kanye’s blog. For this project, Consequence recruits a supporting cast of Rick Ross, Pharoahe Monch, Styles P, Maino, Spree Wilson, Common, Talib Kweli, Kanye West, Q-Tip, Kid Cudi, Big Sean Asher Roth, Diddy and The Lox.

And though the project debuts on March 15th, we have already received a few stand out tracks from the project, including “Childish Games“ with Asher Roth, “Sounds G.O.O.D. 2 Me,” “Whatever U Want“ with his fellow G.O.O.D. Music artists, and the Bad Boy Remix to “Whatever U Want.”

Overall, I must say that I am very excited for this project to come about.

I’m feelin the mixture of animation and real cuts, along with the random cameo from Bruce Willis in this one.  Off their album Plastic Beach, set to be released March 9th.  If you want to listen to their full album, and when I mean full album, I mean the stream won’t let you skip ahead or back, you can listen to a run-through HERE, courtesy of Guardian.

I need to make up for my lack of posting recently, due to the recent breakdown of my MacBook Pro…way to go Apple.  Anyway, here is the official trailer for a CD I think is going to be absolutely amazing.  Dame Dash has teamed up with rock group The Black Keys to create a fusion of hip-hop and rock called BlakRoc.  Featuring some of the best lyricists in the game like Mos Def, Raekwon, RZA, and Pharoahe Monch, this CD is going to be nothing less than brilliant.  Hip-hop has come a long way. CD out in stores on Friday, make sure you go pick it up.
