Alright guys, it drops today. How many of you will be purchasing Drake’s album? What is your favorite song(s)? Was it what you expected? Do you think Drake is a lame? Share all your thoughts about Drake and his music below. Especially since when we post his songs he gets over 2,000 download a lot and no comments. Doesn’t make sense to me, but whatever.

Oh sorry, didn’t make it to Lil Wayne’s verse because this song bores me. Shrug.

Side note: Ya know…they have like 50,000,000 artists in the Young Money crew and the only one that made it on his album was Nicki AND he had like 1,000 features. I don’t know about you but I if were on Young Money I would talkin some serious shit (in my head of course). Ha.

Thank Me later is definitely one of the best “albums” to come out in the last couple of years. Its good all around. Its not just rap, r&b etc. Its blend of all that and if you go and take as what it is “music” its fire. But if you expected young money drake the whole time then you going to be upset. sidenote— Everybody but Nikki in young money is garbage so why ruin a song with putting them on it just like in there album!

The album was disappointing to begin with already, so I was glad no one from Young Money, apart from Nicki, was featured on it. The album does open the door for J.Cole to steal the lime light from Drake, IMO he already does.

#Touche’ NThought… The rest of YM is Work In Progress! The only ones who are actually talented by nature is Drake, Nicki and Tyga. But as far as the album goes its a Musically Exceptional!! A Wonderful Album… Not as Great as So Far Gone, but Good Music none the less. The problem we have here, is the decline of musical content. Its to the point that when we actually hear “Good Music”, we don’t know how to except it. You have artist like Drake, Slaughterhouse, Jay Electronica, Lupe, and a host of others, who are bashed on a regular basis for their music… But these clowns Waka Floka and Gucci Mane, like their the second coming of Big and Pac!! I don’t see the science behind it!! You can’t argue with his talent or the Genius Of The Album.
“Plus this women that I mess unprotected/ texting, saying she wished she would’ve kept it/ the one that I’m laying next to just looked over and read it/ man I couldn’t tell u where my head is, I’m holdin on by a tread its!” Wow… Picture the realness it that. Dude knocked up one chick, made her get rid of it, and reads a text from her crying about she should’ve kept it, while #2 is lookin over his shoulder reading it with him!! Pure Brilliants!! See these Young Obamas (Boondocks Referance) out here, are just lazy! They’ll rather just hear the music, and not listen to it.. But if your not listen, how are you hearing anything???? Sit On That For A Second….

It’s Drake’s album, not a Young Money one. Drake killed it. Take the CD, put it in your car, and go drive for an hour with a blunt, you’ll agree, he killed it.

And don’t get me started on the garbage music that WAka Floka and Gucci Mane. Just a waste of a good beat. Im not a hater but dudes like that need to stop saying claiming there rappers and call themselves crunk music or whatever but there ruining the game for the real rappers!

Drake is an awesome lyricist, has a great flow, and is very versatile with how lays down vocals on his instrumentals. I’ve enjoyed almost all of Drake’s tracks when he chooses not to sing over the entire thing (not a big slow R&B fan).

That being said, I can agree with Lioness when she says she got bored with the song. Personally, I started getting bored right around when the hook dropped and I totally lost it when Jay-Z opened his mouth:

“Owwww, hoes turn their head owwwls // I’m the man of the…hour”

    No, just no.

Lil Wayne killed it at the end, though. This song would be a lot better if Wayne’s part was studio quality…..but I guess that’s what you get when you’re rapping through a prison telephone, so no big deal.

As far as Young Money, I really only like Drake and Wayne. To me, Wayne’s either on fire or complete shit. As for Nikki, I kinda lost respect for her after I listened to ‘Roger That’ when she said “Flow tighter than a dick in a butt,” ’cause that shit’s disgusting.

Haha, but in all seriousness, I just don’t think she’s a strong enough lyricist and I kinda get the feeling that she’s just filling the void of the token girl rapper for YM. Wayne also says some stupid shit sometimes (ex. ‘Famous’) but he’s also had some of the best lines of any rapper in history.

It should be no suprise that Gudda Gudda, T-Streets, Lil Twist, Lil Chuckee, Short Dawg and Mack Maine weren’t featured…I mean, come on.

Imagine if you joined an art class and there were a few collaboration projects you did at the start, then broke off and made your own works, would you want your Portfolio based on others? Or would you want to make a few pieces that cover your styles and techniques, and want them judged in an unbiased eye when presented to the world?

Fireworks (Good lyricism and all three verses go great together and are solid, coulda dropped Drake singing in the hook tho imo)

Karaoke (Sick, clean, basic beat but I don’t like the random smash noise, like whack-a-mole in the background… Drakes voice in this song is unique and very soothing, rap was decent)

The Resistance (First verse is ill: “I avoided the coke game and went with sprite instead.”, second verse was decent tho nowhere near like the first until he talks about the pregnant girl, third verse better than second, not as good as the first tho “I’m about to roll me up a blunt with my list of regrets”)

Over (Tho way overplayed and getting old, you gotta admit he killed it… pretend you ain’t heard of Drake, who? haha then listen to it again, you’d be like daymn, that dude killed)

Show Me a Good Time (idk why but I ain’t a fan of either of Kanye’s beats on this CD, tho this song is dope, it would have been killer on another beat)

Up All Night (I actually think Soldier Boi coulda done the hook, same words not something he made up, and had a legit song for once, but Drake gets it done sounding like him, or maybe Drake should have written him a verse? “So we do it how we do it” sounds just like SB, and Nicki is annoying just rappin about sales…? I side with Kim)

Fancy (If I didn’t know it was prod. by Swizz Beatz, I woulda still guessed it was his beat, its got his classic sig. & that’s the fuckin T.I. I like ;)

Shut It Down (tho I didn’t like The-Dreams wisper/highpitched singing, Drake killed it and I’ma play this instead of R. Kelly’s Pregnant when the time comes)

Unforgetable (didn’t like the beat, but Drake spit some fiya)

Light Up (Drakes sounds on a near equal footing with Jay-z, yea some might say this is boring, but it isn’t a shitty song, tho the beat could have been mastered a bit better)

Miss Me (Drake kills it, Weezy was ill but Drake was oh so sick, listen to tha words)

Cece’s Interlude (Only Shitty song imo, beat blows, its like a tamborine player with seizers, get switch out a heavy bass instead of the clashes and it might sound better… but i doubt it)

Find You Love (Sick hook, probably the only good thing about this song, please someone throw a sick beat up under that, wood blocks isn’t one of my favorite noises, and yes I think the remix with a ton other artists blows, most those verses suck; this beat sounds like Kanye and not someone typical for Drake, tho he handled it fo sho)

Thank Me Now (Sounds like an excellent Timbaland Production, and Drake “Ma-halo from the hardest act to follow.” Damn, I was sold by each and every line)

Only one song that didn’t beast? And you think So Far Gone was better? Nah, that was a mixtape, this is an Album and well proved. I havn’t liked Drake the last few days because of him puttin Nicki Minaj above “all other women to ever do this shit” which made me think, “Who the fuck are you to state something like that so blutly like you the official, I think your ego is gettin bad, and I wouldn’t see him in concert as he raps like every third word and lets the crowds yell the rest… Saying that, if I had only heard Drake because of So Far Gone and now Thank Me Later, as in I hadn’t heard any of him and then listened to both tapes back to back, I would think he killed it, so yes, he’s got good music, but it doesn’t warrant the ego imo

Here is what you should now do: Get Cake 4 and add these songs from it to your collection:
Bollywood Flow aka Tim Westwood Freestyle(the Cookin Soul Remix sounds best)
    9am in Dallas
    You Know, You Know
    One Man Show

I don’t mind that Drake doesn’t have a whole bunch of YM artist on his album. I don’t really think half of them really got bars nor do they blend with his sound. Mills is a mixtape rapper. Tyga cool, his sound is just different. Wayne is a beast. Gudda is a extra regular nigga, meaning his sound isn’t like I’ve never heard it before. And Nicki is up and coming and can hold her own on different tracks. (except that BS Massive Attack)

Of course Drake makes more money than me. He makes more money than you, your mom, and your dad combined. That has nothing to do with anything, though now does it?. Just because he is more wealthy than most of us doesn’t mean we can’t have an opinion.

Enjoy this AMAZING site I created! HAHAHAHA

Second..i think Drake KILLED this album although the first time listening to the whole thing i would have agreed with Lioness that some parts were boring..after listening to it a few times it grew on me.. i think after listening to all these wack commercialized rappers that only want to put out club bangers i forgot what real good music was

If you didnt like his album thats your opinion but seriously this shit was on point..oh and Mr. 5Star ..madd funny lol
