Loon Converts to the Nation of Islam (Video)

The title is misleading as there is no mention that Loon has joined the Nation of Islam only that he has accepted Islam.

Mainstream Muslim’s who follow Islam don’t even consider the followers of The Nation of Islam as Muslim because their core beliefs are radically different.

Bro Manny, it’s so sad that you would speak ill of the Nation of Islam. Because of slavery, willie lynch, etc, our once strong black men have been taught, from one generation to the next, to disrespect women, forget his children and not be the kings of his homes as Allah intended for us. We have women who actually think it’s fashionable to walk around with their bodies all exposed, as if they are being prepared for the auction block. Rappers with a real message are not given any real airtime unless they can say something about killing, robbing or disrespecting us, black women.

You have no idea what it’s like trying to raise a young black man, as a woman, on your own. It’s not natural, but we have to do it because we have no choice.

There is a saying, before you can go and clean up the world, you must first administer and clean up your own, starting with self. That is what the Nation of Islam does. Where everyone else has given up on the black man, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, under the direction and guidance of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, has taught the black man who is is and his place. The men are strong, respected and taught to respect the black woman. We pray, as we are Muslim, we read and study. I belong to many Muslim social sites that are not NOI, they know, and offer friendship.

It amazes me how those from the East (and I assume you as as I have a Muslim friend named Manny who is) who talk about the NOI, but when we, your brothers and sisters are over here, suffering, you did nothing to come across the waters to save us. For 400 years you knew and did nothing. No Africans came, noone from Iran or Iraq or anywhere came to save those snatched from paradise to be brought over here to live in this condition.

Shame on you for judging and not trying to uplift and support. We are all family. I do not wish to disrespect you, but who else came to help us to escape from the condition we were in???

Loon converted to Sunni Islam. He is not part of the NOI. I’m not sure where you jumped to that conclusion, especially after watching that video.
