A few hours behind schedule, but here is Diggy Simmon’s debut mixtape, The First Flight.
With a supporting cast of Chris Classic, Mike Charles, Lil Gavin, Lil Twist, Khalil, Karina Pasian, Young Jerz and Neako, and production from Natural Disaster, Black The Beast, Young Jerz, and Neako, this is a mixtape that you do not want to sleep on.
I worked really hard on this tape independently. It was originally set to come out on Black Friday but I’m just trying to put my best foot forward because I already feel a lot of people don’t believe in my project. So I’m gonna go hard the first time instead of asking for forgiveness my second. It’s a well rounded mixtape hitting every demographic”
I have not went through the entire mixtape, but just with a brief skim, I was able to tell that this mixtape is ill. Now, I am not claiming this is mixtape of the year, but for his age, and as a debut, Diggy does a great job. Link below, folks.

This shit is unbelievable, 4 weeks before 2009 ended the most unlikely candidate outside the music industry dropped a mixtape that shattered my expectations and became the best mixtape of 2009 out shining So Far Gone, The Warm Up, The Cleveland show, Coke Wave, Bullets Got No Name Vol. 3, Gone Fishing, Dat Kid From Cleveland, Soon You’ll Understand, Flight School, B.o.B. Vs Bobby Ray, Back To The Feature, Fly With Us Or Lie Beneath Us, From Now On, Mac Wit Da Cheese, The Audacity of Coke, Covers The Classics, The Uncrowned King, The Burrprint, 4-30-09, Apply Pressure, Enemy Of The State: A Love Story, Burn After Rolling, One Foot Out The Door, Church League Champions, No Ceilings, The Rebirth of Fresh 1.0 (No Floors), Chopper City 2009, A Matter Of Time, R.I.P,Live From New York 1994-2001, War Angel, How Fly and Guccimerica in my opinion. Diggy Simmons. Wow. This that new nigga now. Hottest nigga out. This nigga came out the Phantom with an umbilical cord and a mike on the other hand. hahaha.

Ok, wait… Better than So Far Gone? NO. The Warm Up? Hell NO. Church League Champions? HELLL NO. The Cleveland Show? Not even close. Enemy of the State? That is a joke. C’mon homie. This is a good mixtape, but this is not near the level of Drake or Cole or Pac Div or Lupe or Chip. Not at all.
