The album is nice and all, but I'm not sure if it has that replayability of other "freshman" albums. I think a little bit of the problem is that all these rappers are too caught up in the mixtape game constantly releasing stuff, which leaves them with seemingly tired and uninspired albums. I mean, if we look back to Kanye's first album, he didn't spit too much on mixtapes, so he still ahd that energy and fire on his actual album. Rappers now days need to expend so much energy on mixtapes just to get thier names out there, and by the time the album coems around, it feels a little played out. Atleast in Wale's case it isn't too bad. There are still bangers, and pretty girls would probably be my favorite song if he got anyone OTHER than Gucci to rap on it.

If you are still confused about what I am talking about, check out Wiz's new album. He is tired on EVERY track. And the oens that aren't tired are oens that were released motnhs before and are already played out.
