Me and my new co-blogger, exc1usive1 decided to co-review this album to add a lil’ something new to the site…
It’s been over four years since G-Unit released Beg For Mercy, during that time a lot has happened to the Unit. Each of the members have put out solo albums that all found moderate success, some more than others. The Game joined G-Unit, and got kicked out shortly after, and the latest departure is of course Young Buck. Now in July 2008, G-Unit has dropped their second studio album T.O.S. aka Terminate On Sight.
The Album starts off with the banger “Straight Outta Southside” , but after that the album sinks and sinks fast. The best song on the album besides “Straight Outta Southside” has to be “Party Ain’t Over” and “Let It Go” feat Jamaican Singer “Mavado”. T.O.S didn’t have many guest appearances besides Mavado and the former G-Unit member who was removed earlier this year, Young Buck. With four three members, it’s no surprise they didn’t have many features artists. Honestly to tell you the truth the four tracks with Buck on ‘em are among the best on a very lack luster release. We didn’t expect much, but after Straight Outta Southside, we thought we we’re in for some bangin’ songs. Oh, we we’re so wrong.
You can call us haters, but take a listen yourself and assess the album yourself. In addition, if you haven’t bought the album yet, you can buy the album here.
